In software development there’s a popular idea that there are 10X engineers.
Supposedly a 10x engineer is capable of creating the impact of 10 average engineers. Who knows if this is actually true, but I definitely appreciate what it’s getting at.
In my consciousness journey, I’ve realized there are 10X healers.
These people are capable of facilitating exceptional transformation and healing.
Although I believe you are always the one doing the healing, it does seem like certain beings have an outsized capacity to help us in this process.
Today’s guest Michael Leberknight is someone I consider a 10x healer. He has helped create some profound shifts in my life and I wanted to have him on the show to discuss what’s he learned exploring many modalities and traditions in the healing arts.
Michael’s journey to becoming a healer began at what he calls a magic school.
Traditionally, mystery (or magic) schools have been places dedicated to the study and practice of esoteric teachings that are often kept outside the public eye. They’ve existed throughout history across various cultures and typically emphasize the development of consciousness, spiritual awakening, and metaphysical concepts.
I’ve always been curious about mystery schools so we discussed what his experience was like actually training in one. This dovetails in him sharing about the microcosmic orbit and how we can unify with the Qi in nature.
Michael has also had the opportunity to study with some masters and enlightened beings. We discuss how beings at this depth of consciousness can impact us on both the material and metaphysical level. I’ve seen how being in a field created by this type of person and absorbing information disseminated through it often has a more profound impact than anything they share verbally. There’s multiple phenomenon going on here including direct or heart to heart transmission.
We also spent a fair amount of time talking about what the healing process is like for the healer. I’ve always been curious what happens inside their conscious experience while performing a healing so it was very cool to learn about his own experience of this.
Other interesting points we covered:
The seeming relationship between the consciousness of the healer, Source, and impact on the client
An overview of cranial sacral therapy
How most healing and bodywork methodologies are designed around moving blockages that obstruct enhanced functioning and capacity
How to think about creating the conditions for a teacher to emerge
Why we may resonate with certain healers more than others
Michael is an amazing gift. He is based on Austin, but travels a bunch and does some remote healing work. All my sessions have been in person so I can only speak to those and they are amazing. He’s reachable on Instagram.
I hope you enjoy our chat and have a great rest of your week.
Much love,
- Scott
