Weekend Vids: Ancient Apocalypse, Psychedelics + Energetic Holes
A metaphor and conversation no one is having
I found the Netflix show Ancient Apocalypse entertaining for about 2 episodes.
I genuinely think Graham Hancock is on to something, but also kind of feel like we get it; humans and advanced civilizations were around longer than popular institutions acknowledge…shocker!
In the 2nd episode they were visiting the ancient site of Texcotzingo. I couldn’t help but think about how the site itself was a powerful metaphor for the process of spiritual awakening. I made this video relating the episode to my own experience of this process.
I think a fair amount about what the popularization / normalization of plant medicine and psychedelics mean for our society.
One thing I see practically no one talking about is how some of these substances can create holes in our energetic fields.
I can’t say that I’m surprised due to the general lack of acknowledgement and experience most of modern western culture has with working with the energy body and field. However, as someone who inadvertently created holes in my energetic field through plant medicine, let me tell you this is a very real thing.
For me this manifested in becoming extremely sensitive to many outside energies including other people’s emotions, substances, and even having to deal with entities. I won’t go into further detail on that now, but I know at least a few other people who’ve went through the same exact thing and it can be quite uncomfortable.
I suspect many people are taking on other people’s energies and have no awareness of it. In fact, I just had a close friend realize this. Or maybe you can feel other people’s energies in both constructive and uncomfortable ways and you don’t know why?
If you find yourself going through this, I highly recommend Tara Springett’s work on higher consciousness healing. She gives some exercises on how you can repair your field and set energetic boundaries which becomes important if you are an open person. Her book on Healing Kundalini symptoms has been an absolute game changer for me and I wish I had discovered it much earlier in my process.
I am very grateful for plant medicines and the healing power & inspiration these substances have played in my own journey. But there also unintended consequences that can occur when using them and I think it's important to be aware of this if you are actively using these substances or plan to. Obviously, it also seems like there are many people who’ve used them without having things like this happen to so take my opinion with a grain of salt : )
I hope you enjoy these videos and have an amazing weekend!

Great metaphor of our true self and the buried pyramid and "the need to remove that which covers up which already is." We always want to add, but we often need to subtract. Just ordered Tara's book based on your rec. Thanks!! Have a great week ahead!!
