Excellent Scott. High agency is like having a powerful rocket. High authenticity is the steering wheel that allows all that power to be moved in the right direction. High purpose, alignment to calling, attracts endless sources of fuel.

Agency is a term I was unfamiliar with - but lately have been focusing on

internal reflection and discovering anew sense within me.

I never actually considered the value of giving myself permission to be me. Today I refuse to devote 100% of my energy to conforming myself to the world via the military rules or society expectations or the productivity gurus mantras. Looking within seems to be developing my “agency”.

Related: I spoke to someone recently who's interested in startups around consciousness. This lead to a whole conversation about science and gadgets. And then it occurred to me that this frame also isn't helpful - I was WAY more interested in "why", which somehow oddly wasn't available to talk about, as opposed to "how".
