Scott this was such a great conversation you had with Mark. What really excites me is that my goal is to see the intersection of science and spirituality, which I'm hoping to offer on my own Substack. As a spiritual director I have sessions with directees who are interested in aligning their lives "with the will of God." I'm not prophetically gifted so I can't possibly see into the future but it is interesting how we look at their life events, connect the dots and see if we can find a possible arc of alignment for their life. The art of spiritual direction has been in existence since the days of the Desert Fathers and Mothers. It lost popularity around the time of the Reformation but is seeing a recent surge in popularity again. It's fascinating to hear about someone's work, like Mark's that seems to be a modern take on an ancient idea. Thanks again for the great work you do Scott.
