I think one of the primary causes of rampant poor health is that humans are not capable of digesting grasses. Wheat, corn, oats, barley, rye, rice & more are all grasses. We do not have the kind of digestive system like cows, goats, sheep, etc. that can digest grasses, and these grains are in almost all of our food now. Is it any surprise that constant consumption of grains can cause us constant inflammation, chronic metabolic disease and much more? I would love to see an interview with Dr. William Davis, a cardiologist who has written extensively on the topic, referencing the latest research, in his books Supergut, Undoctored, and Wheat Belly.
