About 6 months ago, I started experimenting with creating content on Youtube. During this process, I was curious who else out there was putting similar ideas out in the world and I came across this amazing youtube channel called Simply Always Awake.
I began listening to the video series on non-duality and found it to be some of the most clearly communicated characterizations and pointings of the non-dual experience I’ve come across.
Today’s guest is Angelo Dilullo, the creator of Simply Always Awake and author of the book Awake: It’s Your Turn.
When I read about very enlightened or realized beings, I always wonder what it must feel like to experience reality through their eyes. What is the texture of the inner experience? How do they perceive common fixtures of reality like other people, work, money, the body, and all the other things that seemingly occupy the mind?
This was one reason I was thrilled to have Angelo on the show in order to get the background of his journey and understand what his current experience feels like.
While we were having this conversation, I found myself going into a deep trance. I felt the lens of reality widen while we were talking which can happen in the presence of a very realized being. This is called resonance, and transmission is a well-known phenomenon that has been cited across wisdom teachings. We actually talk a little bit about this and his experience of it with people that he works with.
